Healing of budgie

How long does it takes to stop black feces of budgies?

Answer:

Hi Neushi,

Normal budgie droppings are a shade of green with white, depending on what you are feeding them. They can be darker green, and look black, but if you smear a dropping on a white paper or paper towel, you should see that it is actually green. They are usually a round shape unless you feed a lot of fresh produce, in which case, they might be more loose. If the droppings are truly black, then this is a sign of serious illness and the bird is not going to get better without veterinary care.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
