Lovebirds mating behaviour
I had 2 pairs of lovebirds bonded very tight to each other both pair came from different breeders, unfortunately one male flown off and got caught by predator. Now I have 2 female and a male, they been living together for several months. Bird A and B are bonded pair and A feeds B. But bird C is alone female. Now I seen bird A mating with bird C, but have only sexule relation with her. And with B he mates and live. Interesting thing I noticed that A and C mates on places hidden from B and if B come out of nest They terminate their activity immediately. Is this is something common in these birds
