Budgies parakeets

Do budgies parakeets talk I mean can they learn to talk or do they just tweet and whistle .

Budgies have actually held the world record for a talking bird. They can be great talkers, but mainly the males will speak. You might check youtube for Disco the Parakeet to hear a good example of a budgie talking. They learn best if you simply talk to him a lot. A random repeated word is rarely learned. They speak to communicate with us, so if you talk to him, he learns and repeats words to try to communicate with you.
