Baby parakeet chicks and pet stores.

If I, as a novice, were to allow my keets to mate, what is necessary for a pet store to take them to sell?
I would think the would require some sort of proof health wise, or would they take them and just keep them quarantined? What is the usual standard?

Each shop will have their own policies, so you will have to ask them. As for breeding, both of your birds should be 2 years old before letting the breed.
