My fisherbird is rubbing it’s feet while sitting in her food bowl like we use treadmill

I don’t know why my bird is rubbing it’s feet while sitting in her food bowl as an example like we use a treadmill. I am really worried…….

Hi,

It sounds like she is trying to nest. I would take that bowl away and replace it with smaller cups that she can’t sit in. Otherwise you are going to end up with her laying eggs and unless she has a mate, she doesn’t need to be laying eggs.
