My birds always sleep together,recent they have parted, now one keeps lying in the food bowl for periods of time & always apart what is wrong or what can I do

Hi Karen,
Even with 2 males, they can exhibit breeding behavior. The one that gets in the bowl may be wanting to nest. As long as they are not fighting, I wouldn’t worry about it. Of course make sure the bird is eating well and seems healthy other than getting in the bowl. If he seems listless, he needs to be taken to an avian vet.
