2 female parakeets

I have a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old female parakeet I introduced them last year and they’re now in a big cage together. They have recently started to squabble with each other. What should I do?

Hi Marla,

Harmless squabbles are normal. However, if they become physical to the point of feathers being pulled out or blood being drawn then you have no choice but to separate them.
