Parakeet Eggs

My parakeets laid 5 eggs it’s been past 18 days and not one has hatched.So will they hatch

Hi Trevor,

Parakeet eggs take between 17-20 days from the time each egg was laid, so the last egg will hatch later than the first since they are laid every other day. You should not take the eggs away until at least 25 days after the last egg was laid. Typically by then the parents will abandon them if they haven’t hatched.
