Screeching budgies?

Sometimes when they are in the cage and I`m not in the room, one of my budgies starts screeching and sometimes the other joins in. Why do they do this?

Hi Helen,

Budgies are very vocal birds and when you have more than one, they tend to communicate a lot. It just sounds like normal budgie behavior.
