You can’t have more than one pair of birds in the cage for breeding. So you need to remove the extra female. Otherwise they will end up fighting, and one female will kill the other female. If she doesn’t, the extra female will destroy any eggs that are laid, or if chicks hatch, she will kill the chicks. Their instinct is to produce their own offspring so they will do whatever they can to stop any other females that are in their territory. Once you have separated the extra female, the other hen may start laying eggs. Mating does not have to result in egg laying, so there is not guarantee. I would recommend finding another home for your extra female, or finding her a mate and they would need to be in their own cage. It’s not good to keep an odd number of birds together because one bird ends up being left without a companion.
