Smelly Budgie poop

We recently got 4 new budgies in addition to our 2 existing budgies. the 4 new ones are in quarantine now and I have noticed that their poop smells a little. Our old budgies’s poop never smelled so I am concerned and out of ideas, as to how to treat the new birds as avian vets in our country are not available.

There are several things that can cause this, but a Vet needs to check their droppings. Most Vets will do this even if they don’t see birds. Unfortunately there is nothing I can recommend for treatment. I would not get them near your other birds until their poop is normal.
