Budgie parents

My male parakeet is chasing the hen down and attacking her when close to the nest and when she starts eating he watches her and causes her stress. Should I remove one of the parents or let them fight? If i should remove one which one should I remove. The chicks are about 15 days in.

Hi Jayden,

You can take the male out and see if that calms him down. Sometimes separating him for a few hours or a couple days can get the aggression to stop. Some males do this in captivity and it isn’t understood why.
