Doesn’t sit on their eggs

Hi, I have a pair of parrot from a long time I got them from my relatives but I don’t know what are thier species. I think they are cockatoo parrot, they are white in colour and they have a red spot on their cheeks.
Before a week they laid 8 eggs but they doesn’t sit on it and try to break them. Now I have only 3 eggs left, other were breakdown by their parents.

Answer:

Hi,

These are cockatiels. Unfortunately, when you have a pair that breaks their eggs, they usually do not stop this. It’s best to take down the nest box and not try to breed this pair. It’s not good for the female to lay eggs all the time. She will be less likely to keep laying without a nest box.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
