Chick with an eye issue?

I have a one month old Black copper Maran chick. This past week either her conjunctiva or third eyelid seems inflammed. It’s distorting her eyelids. It’s both eyes. Seems fine otherwise. Could this be some kind of deficiency? I noticed some bubbles in the corner of her eye a few times. No discharge. The other three chick’s are fine. Any suggestions on what I should try?

Answer:

Hi,

The best thing to do is take her to an avian Vet. Many avian vets will treat pet chickens. There is no way to know what is wrong without taking her to a Vet. If you check out the webinar below, it will help you understand why it is impossible to diagnose a bird based on a symptom.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
