Spinal or neurological trauma

Ty for replying.i can’t move the tub upstairs as I live in a tiny home and the storage tub won’t fit.they said keep him storage tub.he can fly,walk around ,eat pelots and drink.he can’t pick up food and eat it.how long do you think they will tell me to keep him in this tub?I’m worried he’s going to get angry,turn mean,and get very ☹️ I think he can purchase but haven’t tried it since his injury because he could not sit without leaning at that point.he sat on my arm no problem.but lack of hum contact is my worry

You can handle him as long as you are very careful and don’t let him get re-injured. He shouldn’t fly and land hard, he shouldn’t climb and fall from any height. This is the reason for the tub. He might be able to go in a small cage, but his feathers will get messed up. He shouldn’t be isolated for long periods so if you need to get a smaller container or small cage to keep him with you, that would be better than him being by himself without any contact. It sounds like he is doing pretty good but needs to be protected since he can’t use the one leg. Even if he doesn’t get use of it, he will learn to compensate. But he is still young and a bit clumsy anyway, so again a lot of his recovery is just a matter of time.
