Cockatiel beak

Hello, i have a three year old cockatiel on harrisons super fine pellets, since this morning i haven’t seen her eat very much and her droopings are smaller, whenever she eats she would have a few pellets drink water and thats it, 10 minutes ago i offered her food and she was eating whilst bobbing her head with her eyes closed(as if shes in pain) and she keeps putting her upper beak inside her lower beak, when she was younger she always bobbed her head whilst eating, but i used to give her fine pellets until i switched to extra fine, the vet told me there was nothing to do about this, although it was resolved for over a year, but im not sure if her beak is getting stuck or shes doing that, but is it normal? Shes never done that before I hope you can give me advice for this,

Thank you.
Regards,

Answer:

Hi,

Unfortunately it sounds like she is sick and needs to be taken to an Avian Vet as soon as possible. She is exhibiting signs of a very sick bird.

Take care,

Brenda
