It depends on a lot of things. Are they the same species? If not, then they may not get along, and they should not be together if there is much of a size difference. Are these tame birds? If so, you are the companion for each bird. If you put them together and they do get along, then they are likely to stop being tame with you. Are they the same age? Never put an older bird with a baby or very young bird. There is nothing you can do to force birds to get along. Even if you have a male or female of the same species, they may not get along. If these are the same species and you want them to be in the same cage, you must start by putting the cages side by side and wait to see if they show interest in each other. If they start sitting next to each other all the time, then you can try them in the same cage, but under close supervision. If they fight or chase each other, then separate them. When you have two birds in a cage, it is also important to have two each of food & water dishes.
