Chewing movement

Good day, I gpt a macaw as a present.
The Macaw has a “chewing” movement with beak an tongue.
I had a Macaw before and he never did that.
What can or should I do.

Hi,

Macaws do a lot of different movements with the beak and tongue. It’s probably just a normal action and nothing to be worried about. But if you are concerned for his health, you should take him to an avian vet.
