Squawking
Iam looking after an African grey at least 35 years old. She talks and has a quirky personality. Sometimes she just scwaks and squawks very loudly, is this for attention?

The short answer is yes – especially if she is getting any type of attention for this. The best thing to do is ignore her when she is being loud, and reward her for talking. Even telling her to stop being loud is encouraging her, because she is trying to get your attention and it doesn’t matter what kind of attention you give her.
