Irn

Can a male and female irn live together in a cage and not breed? They live together in an Avery with a lot of other birds

Answer:

Hi,

If they bond as a pair, they will mate and the female might lay eggs. But if you don’t want to breed them, then don’t give them a nestbox or anything they can use as a nest, and discard any eggs if she lays any.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
