If you are talking about 16 degrees Celsius – about 61 degrees Fahrenheit, then this would be fine. If the bird is chilled, you can cover part of the cage. Also it’s best to keep them our of drafts. If you meant 16 Fahrenheit, then no, of course the bird – and you – would freeze!
