Going On Vacation For A Month

I am thinking on going on a vacation but it will be about 4 weeks long. My mother and father will be home for a whole week before they travel as well and will be able to feed change water and take him out everyday. After that for the next 3 weeks I will have a family member look after him . They will arrive mornings and evenings to feed clean hangout and put to bed everyday. I am very worried that he will get depressed and sad and maybe forget about me . Am I over thinking this or is this idea too risky ? I really need a bird owner advice before I make this decision!

It sounds like you have a very good plan for his care. He will be just fine! He may be a bit grumpy with you when you get back, but plan to bribe him with some treats and he will soon come back around. He will be very happy in his own home with people coming in to care for him and talk to him some. Good planning!
