spackel a bathroom ceiling

I had water leak in my bathroom ceiling. It has been fixed. Now I want to spackel the ceiling What spackel material can I use that’s safe for the parriot.

I’m not sure if there are any safe materials. The best thing to do is make sure your birds are in a room where you can’t smell any fumes. Keep a window open in the bathroom until any fumes have dissipated.
