Aggressive Male Cockatiel

Toby is 2 and loves to whistle and interact with his people. He’s started biting my ear when I do something he like or take away a soft item it can be a pot holder or wash cloth sock etc . I know it’s hormonal I try to keep him more in cage he cry for hour when I do that. I’m at my wits end. Will this harmony stuff be over soon??
