Is it okay to feed all of my parakeets the same food?

I have four parakeets, one is 9 years old and I need to switch him to a senior food diet. The other three are all 3 years or younger. My birds refuse to eat anything other than birdseed even though they have been offered fresh foods. I want to buy nutriberries senior food but is it okay for all of them to eat senior food? I can’t make the senior bird eat of a specific food bowl. Thanks! Let me know

Answer:

Hi,

Yes, the Senior Nutri-Berries can be fed at any life stage and can be fed as the main diet. They do have supplements that can be of extra benefit for a senior, but everything in them is nutritious for all of your birds.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
