I doubt that I have two male cockatiels. Please confirm

I have two cockatiels that exhibit male behavior. The pet shop told me that the grey one is female while the albino is male. My intention is to breed them. How can I send you a video to see their behavior?

Answer:

Hi,

After reviewing the video & picture you sent, I think you have 2 males. The Grey bird is definitely a male – he is a normal grey male. The other bird is not an albino, it is a Lutino cockatiel and appears to be a male. Check the underneath side of the long wing feathers, and if it is a female, there will be yellow spots. But the behavior and vocalizing is more like what a male would do. If you still decide to get females for breeding, both the male and female should be at least 2 years old before you put them together for breeding. And you can only have one pair of birds in a cage for breeding.
