Conure’s

Can I put 2 female conure and 1 male conure’s together what would happen

Answer:

Hi,

It’s never a good idea to have an odd number of birds in a cage together, regardless of the genders. One bird always gets left out and the other will pick on it. In some cases the birds will fight, sometimes to the death. I don’t have enough information to give specific advice. If 2 of the birds are already together and are bonded, then you should not split them up. If the third bird is not tame and needs a companion, you can try getting it another conure of the same species. There is not guarantee that they will get along. Birds choose their own mates in the wild, and do not always like the mate or companion we choose for them. Some birds simply do not get along and you can’t force them to get along. If your birds are all happy the way they are, I wouldn’t mix things up.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
