What to feed green cheek conure

Ok so I have been doing research but I never get the exact amount so how much pellets veggies and seeds are recommended per day and how often should I feed my bird

Answer:

Hi,

We recommend 80% of the diet should be a nutritionally balanced diet such as pellets or our foraging pellets – Nutri-Berries, Avi-Cakes & Pellet-Berries. The rest of the diet should be fresh greens & veggies, some fruit and healthy table foods, including nuts. You should not offer any loose seeds to your bird. The seeds in most loose mixes is not fresh enough to retain the natural nutrients. If a supplement is added, it is lost when the bird removes the hull. Our Avi-Cakes, Nutri-Berries and Pellet-Berries are nutritionally balanced the same as a pellet, but the ingredients are not ground up. We only use fresh, human grade seeds with the hulls removed. They are combined with other ingredients and everything is coated with a nutritionally balanced binder, so your bird gets complete nutrition in every bite. You can feed our foraging diets alone or along with pellets. Your bird should always have some food available. When feeding pellets, keeping a small bowl available is recommended. If offering our foraging diets, give him a couple of cakes or 3-4 berries and wait until he eats those before giving him more. Most pet birds waste food because they are given too much at one time. In the wild, if food is abundant, the parrots choose their favorite parts and discard the rest. If food is scarce, they will eat more of a food, and not waste it. If he throws food from the dish, put it back in the bowl as long as it didn’t get poop on it. Keep chopped veggies and some greens available to encourage him to eat fresh foods, too.
