Coctail birds infertile eggs


My coctail birds lay infertile eggs so i remove them after 24 days but very next day ahe laid more eggs is that eggs are also infertile should i rwmove them or let it be how to care them ao they prosuce fertule egga


Answer:

Hi,

You need to remove the nest box and rest the pair from breeding for at least 6 months. You should do this after each clutch, whether the eggs hatch or not. If the birds are not at least 2 years old, they should not be breeding yet. Let them try again in 6 months, as long as they are over 2 years old. If they continue to have infertile eggs, they may not be truly bonded as a pair and are not mating, or there may be a problem with one of the pair.
