Nesting

I have a couple of nesting cockatiers ready to fly out of nest in a couple of days but they have a new egg in there and looks like blood on baby’s face should I go ahead and take them out of nest

Answer:

Hi,

Yes, go ahead and remove the nest so that the parents will care for the baby. Once the baby had been removed from the cage, you should still leave the nest box out so they will rest at least 6 months.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,
