do i switch the budgies to a new cage i only saw an egg today and the cage came with a nest box from the previos owner

Answer:

Hi,

I would move them to a new cage, but without the eggs or nest for now. Let them rest for at least 6 months before giving them the nest box. Once you give them the box, only let them have it while they are breeding and raising chicks, but rest them after each clutch. You should limit them to 2 clutches per year.
