J have a ai think.Male umbrella cockatoo that’s going to tge bottom.of tge cage abg covering up in.New papers he ate apple and ate last night It is Saturday. I m worried he take omega oil for his liver ordered by the vet . I am going to take him o have his nails .just in case his nails are too long .I an so 😟 worried There are no bird specialists open.on the weekend

He may be hormonal if he isn’t sick. He is getting under the papers as if they are a nest. I would not use papers or anything on the cage bottom since it sounds like there isn’t a metal floor grate in the cage. It is better to leave the tray bare and just wash it out daily. If the Vet didn’t find anything wrong with him, this is probably hormonal behavior.
