Aaron/GCC

Arron is in this “Time of the Season,” as well. At first, I had Aaron walk up to my shoulder. He would nap there. Then he would want to go home to eat. I taught him to say: “Aaron on a stick!” He does say this when he wants to be w/me. Now, I don’t like this form of acting Aaron does to my hand. I put him on his cage when this happens. Then Aaron will Bark. This is not what I want in a GCC. I have toys all around the cage. He doesn’t play with many. He only calls out to Mommy. I feel so bad what he is going through. Is there a Bird Food that will stop this drive for Parrots? How to fend for a Parrot that loves The Owner?

Answer:

Hi,

Hormones are something you have to deal with when you have a pet bird. There are ways to discourage hormonal behavior. This month, our free Friday webinars are all about hormones! I encourage you to tune in – this Friday the speaker is an expert with GCC and most of the webinar will be a Q&A.
