Advice for egg laying love bird

How long is too long to lay an egg? My lovebird is trying to but is it stuck or is this normal?

Hi,

Do you know for sure the bird is trying to lay an egg? Has she been laying eggs? Is the egg visible? The egg comes out right away once it is visible. If the bird is egg bound, she will be straining, puffed up, tail pumping up and down and in clear distress. In this case she needs help from a Vet immediately.
