African grey breeding

Hi Iam Ahmed Iam having African grey bonded pair with the DNA and also I saw them mating I think more than 5 times so it’s been 25 days that still I didn’t see them going to breeding box. So Iam confused what to do. Will they lay eggs or no. When are they gonna enter breeding box . Even they breeded before also with the old seller so Iam just worried what to do. Even the breeding box size is also perfect for the birds but still Iam confused. Please help

Breeding does not have to result in eggs. Greys are not that easy to breed, and it can take some time for them to decide to explore the box. Some pairs can take years to reproduce, and some pairs never reproduce. All you can do is provide everything they need, give them plenty of privacy, and hope they breed for you. I am a bit concerned that the seller claimed they had bred before. It’s rare for anyone to sell a pair that produces chicks. Usually if someone sells a pair, it’s because they don’t produce chicks – maybe they don’t lay eggs, or sit on the eggs, or have healthy chicks. There is no way to know for sure, but if another 6 months goes by and they still have no interest in the box, I would consider the possibility that the seller didn’t tell you everything about them, and knows they are not good breeders.
