African grey fighting with same species

Why my 2year male and female 3years fight continuously they never eat together and allow other species birds close to them

Answer:

Hi Karan,

Not all birds will get along, even if they are the same species. And it’s very common for different species to not get along together. There is no reason for them to have to, so I would not have them out at the same time anymore. if you are trying to breed these birds, they are much too young. You need to give them time to get sexually mature. In captivity, the earliest they should be set up for breeding is 5 years old. Even then they may not be ready. I would split them up and reintroduce them in a few years.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
