African Grey fluffing up
What does it mean when our bird fluffs up but does not pin her eyes, when we go to feed her?
Thank you for attending our webinar by Lisa Bono. Below is Lisa’s response:
Without me seeing the behavior, I can only guess that it is a sign of contentment. I would need to know what is going on right before this behavior and directly afterwards. My Stirling will puff up and wag his tail feathers each night as I put him in his night cage. I tell him it’s sleepy time and his behavior indicates he is content. I take it as his is winding down his day.
