African ringneck

Will an african ringneck revert back to being untame if you leave him alone to long

Answer:

Hi Marty,

Yes, Ringneck and closely related species are all notorious for being difficult to keep tame without regular handling. They are smart and can talk really well, but many of them are handshy for some reason. When they are being hand fed, there is one one point while they tend to go a bit wild, and then they calm down again.
