My pet parrot has significantly bonded with me and my family now. He has learnt how to talk too. He likes sitting on my shoulder and whenever I eat something he just comes to the table to ask for some food. He still is scared of new people but its completely fine.

I’m so glad your bird has come around! It proves that the right kind of patience and understanding works out eventually – of course depending on the bird’s personality. I know I said the Alexandrine and other ringed parrots can be aloof and hand shy, but if you get the right one, they can be wonderful pets. I’m glad your bird is one of the more social personalities. Great work with him!
