Do you recommend an annual physical for pet birds? Which birds would benefit from this?

Here is Dr. Tully’s response:

Yes, not only to evaluate the bird’s health but also to provide any new updated information that may help the bird live a long, healthy, happy life. The physical examination not only includes the external physical examination but a complete blood count to see what is going on “inside” the bird.
