Would it be possible to bring the avian virus inside to your parrot from packages delivered to your porch?

Hi Josie,

This would be almost impossible, and definitely a very remote possibility but of course it’s better to ask and be informed. The virus is spread through droppings or other fluids, so unless an infected wild bird had direct contact with a package and left droppings or secretions on it, there is no risk.
