Can you refer me to an certified avian vet in the Los Angeles area?

I would recommend looking on the aav.org site. Under their resources tab you will see they have a “find a vet” section. You can put in your zipcode and look up various avian vets close to your area. You can also go to the ABVP.com site and look at their find a vet section as well. The AAV site has veterinarians who are comfortable with birds though they may or may not be board certified. The ABVP site has only board certified vets on it.
