What can I do if I don’t have an avian vet in town and no chance to go with my bird (budgie) to another city where there are avian vets?

An Avian specialist is best, but many vets will treat birds even if they do not specialize. Check with your local vets for a referral if they do not treat birds. Here is our search link for locating an avian vet.
