Bagasse Fiber containers

Is it safe to use Bagasse Fiber containers (that contain PFAS) to put food in for my Macaw to forage?

Hi,

No, I would not knowingly expose a bird to PFAS. High levels have been found in wild birds and it is a huge concern. While the FDA currently says these containers are safe, it would not be the first time they failed to ban a dangerous product. With pet birds, it’s better to be cautious.
