Beak wiping

My canary keeps wiping his beak on wooden perch. He has done this since we got him two months ago. Otherwise appears to be ok. Should I be concerned? Thank you

This is a normal behavior. He is just keeping his beak clean. He may also be a bit nervous, but the beak wiping is nothing to be concerned about.
