my husband just got me a parrot but it seems scared. its been 3 weeks. what can i do

Hi Priscilla,
It takes time for a parrot to settle in to his new home. It depends on if he is already tame, hand fed, what species, how old, and other variables. It’s hard when someone else buys a parrot for someone, because you may not necessarily be compatible. I’ll give you the links to our taming and behavior pages.
