Bonded male cockatiels

I have 2 male cockatiels in which the 3 of us are bonded. They have a yeast infection and need to be separated for 30 days as I give them medication. How should I go about this in the least stressful way since they are not caged animals.
Thank you.
Jamie

Answer:

Hi,

If they are both being treated, I see no reason to separate them. It would cause a lot of stress and they might not respond as well to the medicine. If they are free roaming, I have no suggestions on keeping them apart. You would need to cage them.

Take care,

Brenda
