Both lovebirds saddle each other

I’ve notice that both lovebirds mate each si I’m confused I’d they are male / female since they reversed roles. They feed each other and as of now have not laid any eggs and this has been going on for months. What do you think

Answer:

Hi,

The birds may be young and inexperienced. Lovebirds should be about 2 years old before you set them up for breeding. But I strongly suspect you have two males. I would recommend having DNA tests run to determine their sex.

Thank you for asking Lafeber,

Brenda
