Breeding

My conure lays six eggs and only hatched one the others are fertized but not hatched

Answer:

Hi Susan,

Since the eggs are laid one day apart, the chicks hatch in the same order. If one just hatched today(Tuesday), for example, the second one is not expected until Thursday. Always leave the eggs with the parents until you see them push them aside. Eggs can hatch late, so you don’t want to discard an egg that simply hasn’t hatched yet. And the remaining eggs give the small chicks something to support them.
