Hi,
It’s not very likely that you can tame these birds. When two birds share a cage and are bonded, even if they are the same sex, they usually will not have any interest in interacting with humans. When you have a pet bird, you are a substitute for another bird as a companion. Even if both birds were really tame, and then you put them together, they will become wild at some point the more bonded they get with each other. Pet birds are not a domestic pet like a cat or dog, even if they were bred in captivity. They are still a wild, exotic species and their behavior is driven by instinct. When they bond in the wild, they have little to no physical contact with other flock members. They may live in a flock for protection, but other birds in the flock are rivals and are not allowed close contact with a bird with a mate. While humans only have a companion bond with a bird, two birds form a mate bond, again, even same sex birds. They are going to protect each other from rivals, and basically you are a rival. You will probably have to be content enjoying these birds as they interact with each other and play with the toys you provide. Ideally they should not be clipped, because flying is important exercise for a bird. I’ll give you the link to our behavior and training pages, but once you better understand their behavior, I think you will realize that taming them is probably not possible.
